  • Office+fablab for Communautique+echoFab

    2014
Plans for office and workshop space focussed on putting technology into the hands of citizens. This space houses both office work and a fablab (fabrication lab) accessible to the public. The office area and workshop space are separated by glass to keep dust off the computers while maintaining a visual link between the "thinking" and "making" work spaces. The noisier and dustier machines are housed in a separate room with dedicated ventilation, with some allowance for natural light and glimpses of the work underway. The shared kitchenette serves also as a meeting room and multimedia space.
